Design & Build
Anker has graduated from black bricks to something approaching industrial design. The Prime features a two-tone matte-and-gloss finish that resists scratches, with a subtle diamond pattern that provides grip. The 1.3-inch OLED display is a genuinely useful addition - it shows remaining capacity as a percentage, estimated time to full, current power draw per port, and the temperature of the battery cells. Double-tapping the side button wakes the screen, a long press activates trickle-charging mode for earbuds. The port layout is smart: USB-C 1 on top, USB-C 2 and USB-A ports on the bottom, with labels that are actually readable. The included 140W USB-C cable is braided and 1.5 meters long. The power button is recessed to prevent accidental activation in a bag.
Performance
This power bank is fast. USB-C 1 delivers a full 140W via Power Delivery 3.1, which charged a 16-inch MacBook Pro from empty to 56% in 30 minutes.
