Performance

In testing by PCMag and Tom’s Guide, the tracking proved accurate and the brushless motor remained completely silent - no buzzing or whining during rotation. However, the tracking can occasionally overshoot or feel awkward when you are very close to the device or reach toward the screen with your right hand (blocking the camera’s view). Vertical tilt must be adjusted manually, and the tracking does not work in very dark rooms.
Audio performance is a highlight. The dual 1-inch tweeters and 3-inch woofer deliver room-filling sound that rivals the larger Echo Studio in clarity, though bass-heavy tracks at maximum volume can introduce some distortion on kick drums.
